Access to Services

Polk County mental health and disability services are offered by a "No Wrong Door" approach. There are many ways to find the type of service you need. A good first step is to call one of the designated intake and referral agencies. Designated agencies can help you look at your situation and refer you to the appropriate services.

If you need immediate assistance for a mental health issue, you can call the Crisis Service at Broadlawns Medical Center: (515) 282-5752. The Crisis Service is available to you 24 hours a day.
