YOUTH LAW CENTER provides free juvenile court representation to Polk County youth and free legal advice to youth across the state of Iowa. The Youth Law Center provides youth, and professionals who work with youth, legal information pertaining to areas such as emancipation, abuse and neglect, sex abuse, family problems, school, traffic, homelessness, chemical dependency, delinquency, guardianship/custody and teen parenting issues. Their staff members are available to speak to school and community groups about youth rights and responsibilities.
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, 24 hour answering service will take messages for local and statewide calls.
No charge to young people.
